Benjamin Franklin LINEBACK was born in 1861 in Indiana. He and his 3 sons
are listed on the 1900 Census in Lake County, TN. His wife, Adaline
LUTTRELL LINEBACK was in Stoddard County at the time, presumably visiting
her uncle, B. B. Fields. Her cousin, Ed LUTTRELL, is with her in Stoddard
County. In 1910, Benjamin and Adaline are in Bernie, MO. Also in their household was Aslee LINEBACK, H. BOOK, and Ed LUTTRELL. The 1920 census shows them still in Stoddard County. Benjamin and Adaline are listed with Ed LUTTRELL living next door to them. 1930 finds Benjamin and Ed in the same household. | |
| This photo was taken about 1941 when Benjamin was 80 years of age. Family history indicates that he was "flirting" with 100 when he died and he rode a bicycle around town. At this time, it is not known when or where he died. Benjamin was the uncle of Harold R. LINEBACK. Harold's collection of musical memoribilia was recently purchased from his widow by the New York Philharmonic. It is known as "The Lineback Collection." |
