Top Picture: "This picture is a total mystery. We know that it was taken when George Washington Hobbs went to Stoddard County for a visit. The people standing in front of this house are Hobbs relatives in Stoddard County Missouri. The house was in Stoddard County. Hobbs married Underhills, Slacks, Brannocks, Temples, and Millers of Stoddard County. Anyone that can identify these folks please contact- Barbara Hobbs Pollack - barbara@pollacks.org. We could use the help. Thanks Barbara"

Bottom Picture: "This is a picture found in George Washington Hobbs' picture album. The place it was in had written under it that it was a photo of Green B. Hobbs, brother of George Washington Hobbs. But as you can see the word Brannock is written on the photo. Is this, in fact, Green B. Hobbs? Or is it one of the Brannock relatives? Or does the B in Green B. Hobbs' name stand for Branock? If this is Green B. Hobbs he was born 14 Sep 1866 in Stoddard County, Missouri. He was the youngest son of Isaac Hobbs and wife, Mirah Binion. Green died in June of 1894 and is buried in Bloomfield Cemetery. As far as we know, he did not marry"
