Know to all Men by these presents that I Elias Jordon of Stoddard County and State of Missouri now being in proper senses do now make my will 1st I want all my Just debts paid 2nd I will to my Son John Jordon one dollar, 3rd I will to my Daughter Sevina Jordan one dollar 4th I will to my daughter Mary Jordan one dollar 5th I will to my wife Elizabeth Jordan all the rest of my property during her natural life or her widowhood though she may at eny time give to Martha Jordan one hundred dollars worth of property also she my give to Logan Jordan one hundred dollars worth of property also she may at eny time give to Charles Jordan one hundred dollars worth of property also she may at eny time give to Marget Jordan one hundred dollars worth of property also she may at eny time give to Sarah Jordan one hundred dollars worth of property and if my wife Elizabeth Jordan shall not give to the five last named children as above mention I Will that at her death or Marage each of them shall have one hundred dollars then an equal divide of the Balance of my property made betwixt all my children this also I appoint Samuel Lasley my Executor 14th day of March AD 1842
