I Isaac Taylor of the County of Stoddard and State of Missouri do hereby make and publish this my last Will and testament as follows To Wit First, I desire that my funeral Expenses and all My other debts Be first paid, Then: Second I give and bequeath unto My Son John Taylor Thirty dollars in trade -- Third I give and bequeath unto my Son Benjamin Taylor Thirty dollars in trade --Fourth, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Micka Alsop Thirty dollars in trade --Fifth I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Whitehead thirty dollars in trade. Sixth I give and bequeath unto my daughter Nancy Caroline Calen Thirty dollars in trade --- Seventh I give and bequeath unto My son Samuel H. Taylor Thirty dollars in trade -- Eighth I give and bequeath unto My son Francis M. Taylor Thirty dollars in trade-- ninth I give and bequeath unto My Son Elijah S. Taylor Thirty dollars in trade---Tenth I give and bequeath unto my son Elisha R. Taylor Thirty dollars in trade-- Eleventh, I give and bequeath unto My daughter Betta Taylor Thirty dollars in trade. Twelfth I give and bequeath unto My Son Henry Amisiah Taylor Thirty dollars int trade--- Thirteenth, I give and bequeath unto My wife Polly Taylor in addition to her dower allowed to her by law and not in lieu thereof the to her heirs and assigns forever the following described tracts of land in the county of Stoddard and State of Missouri, to wit, the west half of the North West quarter of Section Twelve in Township Twenty Six North of Range Ten East, also the South East quarter of the North East quarter of Section Eleven in Township Twenty Six North of Range Ten East also the North West Quarter of the South East Quarter of Section Eleven in Township Twenty Six North of Range Ten Est, also The East half of the North West quarter of Section Twelve in Township Twenty six North of Range Ten East also the remaining part of all My personal property. I do hereby appoint David Lewis The Executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have here unto Set My hand and Seal this twenty Seventh day of December Eighteen hundred and forty Eight.

We Joseph Rea and James Kelly do Solemnly Swear that Isaac Taylor now deceased did on the twenty seventh day of December in the year of Our Lord Eighteen hundred and forty eight publish the within and foregoing as his last will and testament that he was then of Sound and disposing Mind and Memory, that he Subscribed the Same in our presence and that we signed our names as witnesses to the Same at the request and in the presences of this testator, and also in the presence of each other and Thus the said Testator Then and There declared the Same to be his last Will and Testament.
