Last Will and testament of Francis H. Keen.

In the Name of God Amen. I Francis H. Keen of Stoddard County Missouri being of sound and disposing mind and realizing the certainly of Death and the uncertainty of Life do make and publish this my last will and Testament.
First- I will that all my Just debts be paid including my funeral expenses by my Executor hereafter appointed.
Second- I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary E. Keen, during her natural or So long as she remains my. All my property of real personal and mixed of whatever kind of which I may be possessed, at the time of my Death and particularly the following Described real Estate situate in Stoddard county Missouri to wit The South West quarter of the North West quarter, and the north west quarter of the South west quarter, of Section No. Twenty Six (26) in Township No. (16) North of Range No. (10) East.
Third- I will and bequeath that after the remarriage or death of my said beloved wife Mary E. Keen, said property be the same real personal or mixed, or all that remains thereof to and be owned and enjoyed and controlled by my beloved Step daughter Alice L. Slayton in Fee.
Fourth- I hereby appoint C. H. Burham Executor of this my will revoking any form will by me made.
In Testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this ___ day of May A.D. 1886.

The foregoing instrument was at the date hereof signed and declared by the said Francis H. Keen to be his last will and testament in the presence of us, who at his request, and in his presence, and in the presence of Each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

Proof of Will

In the Probate Court in vacation

Be it Remembered that on this the 7th day of February A.D. 1887 before me P.G. Wilson Judge

of the probate Court held in and for the county and State aforesaid, personally appeared N.M. Cobb and M.S. Phelan, who are the subscribing witnesses to the of F.H. Keen deceased and being by me first duly sworn depose and say That the said F.H. Keen the Testator subscribed the same in their presence and published and declared said will or Instrument of writing to be his last will and testament and that at the time of signing the same he the said testator was of sound and disposing mind and more than twenty one years of age, and that said deponents attested said will as witnesses thereto by subscribing their names to the same in the presence of the testator at and of Each other and at the request of the said testator.

I P.G. Wilson Judge of the Probate court of Stoddard County Missouri having Examined the foregoing Instrument purporting to be the Last Will of F.H. Keen, deceased and having heard the testimony of N.M. Cobb and M.S. Phelan subscribing witnesses thereto in Relation to the Execution of the same do declare and adjudge said Instrument to be the Last Will and testament of the said F.H. Keen deceased late of Stoddard County, Missouri.
In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said court at office in Bloomfield this 7th day of February A.D. 1887
