Last Will of Benjamin Franklin Womble.
In the name of God, Amen.
I Benjamin Franklin Womble of the county of Stoddard in the State of Missouri
of the age of Fifty years being of sound mind do make and publish this my last will
and Testament as follows.
1st. I request that my funeral be conducted under the direction of my beloved wife.
And that my funeral charges and expenses and all my just debts be paid by my
beloved wife without any administration on my Estate.
2nd I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Matilda Womble all my estate both
personal and real to have and hold and enjoy for and during her natural life.
3rd I will give and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my Estate both
personal and Real to Martha Moore and to her bodily heirs to have and

hold and enjoy absolutely in Fee simple after the death of my beloved wife Matilda
Womble and after the termination of her life estate in said estate.
4th If the said Martha Moore Now wife of William Buckner Moore should die
without issue or their descendants surviving her and the said William Buckner
Moore shall continue with me and my beloved wife and perform the duties of a
faithful child to us and care for us during the natural life of us and each of us then I
will and bequeath all the property above bequeath to the said Martha Moore (late
Martha Shelby) to him the said William Buckner Moore absolutely in fee simple.
5th I will that my beloved wife Martha Womble wind up my estate and take full
charge of my property both personal and Real and take my place and perform all
thing touching the same as though she were duly qualified as the Executrix of this
my last Will and Testament without giving my bond whatever in that behalf.
In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal
this 3rd day of November A.D. 1883

The foregoing instrument was at the date thereof signed and declared by the said
Benjamin Franklin Womble to be his last Will and Testament in the presence of
us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have
subscribed our names as Witnesses thereto.

Proof of Will

In the Probate Court
Be it Remembered that on this the 20th day of August A.D. 1887 before me
P.G. Wilson Judge of the probate Court held in and for the county and State
aforesaid, personally appeared C. L. Keaton who is one of the subscribing
witnesses to the annexed will of B.F. Womble deceased and being by me first duly
sworn depose and say That the said B.F. Womble the Testator subscribed the same
in their presence and published and declared said will or

Instrument of writing to be his last will and testament and that at the time of signing
the same he the said testator was of sound and disposing mind and more than
twenty-one years of age, and that said deponent attested said will as witness thereto
by subscribing his name to the same in the presence of the Testator and of each
other and at the request of the said testator.

20th day of August A.D. 1887.

Be it Remembered that on this the 23rd day of August A.D. 1887 before me
P.G. Wilson Judge of the probate Court held in and for the county and State
aforesaid, personally appeared Lygon Jones who is one of the subscribing
witnesses to the annexed will of B.F. Womble deceased and being by me first duly
sworn depose and say That the said B.F. Womble the Testator subscribed the same
in their presence and published and declared said will or Instrument of writing to be
his last will and testament and that at the time of signing the same he the said
testator was of sound and disposing mind and more than twenty-one years of age,
and that said deponent attested said will as witness thereto by subscribing his name
to the same in the presence of the Testator and of each other and at the request of
the said testator.

Stoddard County State of Missouri having Examined the foregoing Instrument
purporting to be the Last Will of B.F. Womble deceased and having heard the
testimony of Ligon Jones and C. L. Keaton subscribing witnesses thereto in
Relation to the Execution of the same do declare and adjudge said Instrument to be
the Last Will and testament of the said B.F. Womble deceased late of Stoddard
County, Missouri.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said
court at office in Bloomfield this 23rd day of August A.D. 1887
