In the name of God Amen. I Mary J. Whitwell being of sound mind and disposing body do make and publish this my last will and testament. 1st I will and bequeath to my beloved daughter Mozetta Boss all the personal property goods chattels of whatsoever character of which I may die seized to have and to hold the same as her absolute property after my decease. 2nd I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Elizabeth Gibbs the sum of one dollar to be paid out of my personal property. 3rd I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter Joan Rivelle the sum of one dollar out of my personal estate. 4th I give and bequeath to my beloved son A.S. Whitwell the sum of one dollar out of my personal estate. 5th I give and bequeath to my beloved Grand daughter Daisey Freeze the sum of one dollar out of my personal estate. 6th I give and bequeath to the bodily heirs of Henretta Rivelle the sum of one Dollar out of my personal estate. 7th I will and bequeath to my children and to the heirs of those dead to be shared in equal parts as my heirs at law all the real estate of which I may die seized .8th I do hereby appoint my beloved daughter Mazelle Boss executrix of this my last will and testament and do further empower to act as said executor without giving bond In... whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 22nd day of April A.D. 1893

Be it Remembered that on this the 20th day of January A.D. 1896 before me D. Wilcox Clerk of the probate Court held in and for the county and State aforesaid, personally appeared Ralph Wannack and H. M. Flannery who are the subscribing witnesses to the annexed will of Mary J. Whitwell deceased and being by me first duly sworn depose and say That the said Mary J. Whitwell the Testator subscribed the same in their presence and published and declared said will or Instrument of writing to be her last will and testament and that at the time of signing the same she the said testator was of sound and disposing mind and more than twenty-one years of age, and that said deponents attested said will as witnesses thereto by subscribing their names

In the Probate Court
I D. Wilcox Clerk of the Probate court of Stoddard County State of Missouri having Examined the foregoing Instrument purporting to be the Last Will of Mary J. Whitwell and having heard the testimony of Ralph Wannack and H.M. Flannery subscribing witnesses thereto in Relation of the Execution of the same do declare and adjudge said Instrument to be the Last Will and testament of the said Mary J. Whitwell deceased late of Stoddard County, Missouri.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said court at office in Bloomfield this 20th day of January 1896.
