--Last Will of Rhoda E.C. Wilson--


I Rhoda E.C. Wilson, of the city of Hillsboro, in the county of Montgomery, in the State of Illinois do, hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made to wit--
First, It is my will that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be fully paid.
Second, I give, devise and bequeath, to my sister Eliza A. Harvey of Paris, Arkansas one thousand dollars.
Third, I give, devise and bequeath to my nephew Charles M. Harvey Miami Indian Territory Eight hundred dollars.
Fourth; I give, devise and bequeath to Cory Carmichael daughter of my niece Lori M. Carmichael, of the Indian Territory Nine hundred dollars, My watch, my set of garnet Jewelry, pin and ear drops and all the clocking that I may have at my death.
Fifth, I give, devise, and bequeath to my niece Anna Moran Rush of Bloomfield Missouri Three hundred dollars.
Sixth I give, devise, and bequeath to my niece Claudia Fowler Vawter, all the house and kitchen furniture bed and bedding, of which I may die seized, and Three hundred dollars.
Seventh, I give, devise and bequeath to my niece Irma Fowler of Arkansas Pass, Texas My Jewelry not devised to others specially by this will and Five hundred dollars.
Eighth I give, devise and bequeath to Alice Jones, daughter of my nephew, Robert E.C. Jones of Bloomfield, Missouri Two hundred dollars.
Ninth , I give devise and bequeath to Will Riley Welch of Bloomfield Missouri son of my niece Rhoda Welch Two hundred dollars.
Tenth, I give, devise and bequeath to Robin Trough Harvey of Branville, Arkansas, daughter of Rufus M. Harvey Three Hundred dollars.
Eleventh, I give, devise and bequeath to my young friend known as Mary Lee Blanche Wilson

my horse shoe diamond pin.
Twelfth I give devise and bequeath to the official of Oak Grove Cemetery Association of Hillsboro Illinois and their succession in office, Two hundred dollars in trust for the following purposes to wit: to keep the sume invested in good securities and out of the income thereof to care for and keep in good order the cemetery lot in said cemetery, bought by James C. Wilson, where I wish to be buried. Should it become expedient or necessary said income or principal may be used in replacing the monument not on said cemetery lot.
Thirteenth, after the payments in full of the above named amounts of money and property I give devise and bequeath as follows to wit:
To Miss Plora DeSart Two hundred dollars.
To Mrs. Ruth Field Cletfetten Two hundred dollars.
To Miss Ora J. Freeland, Two hundred dollars.
To the Presbyterian Church of Hillsboro, Illinois of which I am a member, Four hundred dollars.
To Charles H. Rolston, in trust to use the income yearly in caring for the cemetery lot in what is known as Walkers Cemetery near Bloomfield, Missouri, where my parents and brothers are buried One hundred dollars.
To Ella Rea Fellers of Litchfield, Illinois, daughter of John Rea two hundred dollars.
To Miss Celeste C. Becker of 4204 Evans Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri Two Hundred dollars.
To Curtis Carmichael of Paris, Arkansas Three hundred Dollars.
To Hale Carmichael of Miami Indian Territory Two hundred dollars.
To the pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Hillsboro Illinois for...mission one hundred dollars.
Fourteenth I direct my executor, herein after named to sell at public or private sale and for cash over time as he may judge best with out the order of decree of any court. All the real estate of personal property not specifically devise and convert the same into money and for the purposes of this will; said real estate is to be considered as money.
Fifteenth, The remainder of my estate, after the payment of the above named legacy, I give, devise and bequeath to my relation named in this will, in Equal part

Sixteenth, I hereby appoint my friend Dr. Isaac W. Fink of Hillsboro, Illinois executor of this my last will and testament.
Witness my hand and seal this 1st day of July A.D. 1898.

In Testimony whereof I have here unto set my hand and affixed the seal for said court, at my office in Hillsboro, this 5th day of April A.D. 1899.

Shoemaker whose name is subscribed to the foregoing certificate of attestation now is and was, at the time of signing and sealing the same clerk of the county court of Montgomery County aforesaid, and keeper of the records and seal thereof, duly elected and qualified to office; that full faith and credit are and of rights ought to be given to all his official acts as such, in all courts of records and elsewhere; and that his said attestation is in due form of law, and by the proper officer. Given under my hand and seal this 5th day of April A.D. 1899

Wilson sign said will in his presence and that he believes that the said testator was of sound mind and memory of lawful age and under no constraint when she signed said will.
