To All men by these Presents that I J.H. Birchfield testator of this Will. I J.H.
Birchfield will to the following named persons:
C.E. Birchfield One Dollar
P.A. Birchfield One Dollar
W.A. Birchfield One Dollar
W. Birchfield One Dollar
J.T. Birchfield One Dollar
T.A. Thower All of my title and interest in the following real estate to wit: South
half of lot one of South west quarter.
South half of lot two South West quarter Section six (6) Township twenty four (24)
range ten (10) east.
West half of North East quarter north half South West quarter South West quarter
North West quarter Section Sixteen (16) township twenty four (24) Range ten (10)
east containing two hundred and Seventy nine 64/100 acres.
This is my lots and last will this 29 of November 1895

This is to certify, J.H. Birchfield appeared before me on the 29 of November 1895
and acknowledged that this is his free act and deed in my office, Liberty township

In the Probate Court
Be it Remembered that on this the 28th day of January A.D. 1896 before me
R. W. Thompson Judge of the probate Court held in and for the county and State
aforesaid, personally appeared E.E. Hallam and John Howell who are the
subscribing witnesses

to the annexed will of J.H. Birchfield deceased, and being by me first duly sworn
depose and say That the said J.H. Birchfield the Testator, subscribed the same in
their presence, and published and declared said will or Instrument of writing to be
his last will and testament and that at the time of signing the same he, the said
testator was of sound and disposing mind, and more than twenty-one years of age,
and that said deponents attested said will as witnesses thereto, by subscribing their
names to the same in the presence of the Testator and ofeach other and at the
request of the said testator.

In the Stoddard County Probate Court Oct Term 1898 November 29th 1898
I R.W. Thompson, Judge of the Probate court of Stoddard County, Missouri,
having Examined the foregoing Instrument of date November 29th 1895, purporting
to be the Last Will and testament of J.H. Birchfield, deceased, and signed by said
J.H. Birchfield, deceased, late of Stoddard County and having heard the testimony
of E.E. Hallam and John Howell, subscribing witnesses thereto in Relation of the
Execution of the same, do declare and adjudge said Instrument of date November
29, 1895 Is the Last Will and testament of said J.H. Birchfield deceased and the
same is therefore admitted to Probate.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said
court at office this 29th day of November 1898.
