I Robert C. Armstrong of the county of Stoddard in the State of Missouri, do make publish and declare this to be my last Will and testament in words and figures following.
1st I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Hannah Armstrong the use interest rent profits and custody of all my real and personal property after the payment of debts and funeral expenses, during the time she shall live and remains my widow.
2nd I give and bequeath to my grand children Alice Armstrong, Alexander Armstrong and children Fisher Armstrong and Rhoda Jane Davis each the sum of one dollar.
3rd I give bequeath and devise to my children (after the death or marriage of my said wife) Melinda Turnepseed, Louisa Lups, Thomas J. Armstrong, & Elizabeth Armstrong and also John Robert Williams and Joseph Jenkins all the rest and residue of My real and personal estate to be divided equally between them except that the said four grand children shall together have only so much as each child has.
4th I hereby appoint my beloved wife to be the Executrix of this my last will hereby revoking all others

We attest the above and foregoing Will by subscribing our names as witnesses in the presence of Robert C. Armstrong the testator this 1st day of March 1870.

In vacation of the County Court
Be it Remembered, That on this 9th day of January AD 1877 personally appeared before the undersigned R.W. Christy Clerk of the county Court of the county and State aforesaid C. B. Crumb one of the subscribing witnesses to the annexed will of Robert C. Armstrong and being by me first duly Sworn, deposes and says that the said Robert c. Armstrong the testator, subscribed the same in their presence and the presence of J.F. McDonald the other subscribing witness thereto, and published the Said Will or Instrument of writing as his last will; That she the said testator was at the time of Publishing his said Will of Sound mind and more than twenty one years of age, and that he the said deponent attested the said Will as witness thereto by subscribing his name to the same in the presence of said testator and at his request and in the presence of the said J.F. McDonald the other subscribing witness, who also attested said will as a witness thereto by subscribing his name to the same in the presence of the testator and at his request and in the presence of this deponent, all on the 1st day of March A.D. 1870.

Personally appeared before the undersigned Clerk of the County Court within and for said County of Stoddard Stephen Chapman who being by me duly sworn says that he is well acquainted with J.F. McDonald one of the subscribing witnesses to the annexed will of Robert C. Armstrong and that he has frequently Seen the Said
J.F. McDonald Sign his name and to the best of his knowledge the Signature of the said J.F. McDonald as a witness to said Will is in his own proper handwriting.

I R. W. Christy Clerk of the County Court within and for the County of Stoddard and State of Missouri having examined the annexed instrument

of writing purporting to be the last will and Testament of and signed by Robert C. Armstrong, and having examined the testimony of C.B. Crumb one of the subscribing witnesses thereto in relation to the execution of the same, and of Stephen Chapman as to the signature of J.F. McDonald one of the subscribing witnesses to said will whose place of residence is not known, do declare and adjudge said Instrument to be the last Will and Testament of the said Robert C. Armstrong deceased, late of Stoddard county, Missouri.
In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed the seal of our said County Court at office in Bloomfield this 9th day of January A.D. 1877.
