To all to Whoom these presants Shall come Greeting: I William Pinkerton of the
county of Stoddard in the State of Missouri, being rather a little in a infirm State of
helth and getting old, and being at the same time acording to my own apprehension
of sound mind and anxious to make a Sutable disposition of my Real and Personal
Estate, do make ordain and declar this my last will and Testament hereby revoking
all others made by me.
It is my Will that all my Just debts and charges of my funeral Expences be paid by
any Executor hereafter mentioned and appointed, out of my estate as soon as
convenient may be after my deceas. I give to my much beloved wife Elizabeth
Pinkerton all my real and personal estate to have and to hold as her own and to
dispose of as she may think best for her own benefit. After each one of my legal
heirs receiving one dollar each, to wit: Serild J. Stephenson, Ann E. Clifton,
Frances Galeway, Emily Kinmored, Julia Hill and Josey Pinkerton. All of my
estate both Real and personal shall belong to my beloved wife Elizabeth Pinkerton
as before stated in this will. I hereby appoint ___________ my Executor of my last
Will and Testament.
In Witness whereof I have subscribed my name an my name and affixt my
Seal This 26 day of June 1871.

I J.L. Carmichael Clerk of the circuit Court and Ex officis Recorder, within
and for the County aforesaid, do certify that the instrument of writing hereto
attached with the Seal thereon was filed for Record in Said office on the 29th day of
Nov. 1873 at 2 o'clock and ____ minutes PM and that the same is duly Recorded in
said office in book "O" for recording Deeds at page 207.
In Witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and affixed the seal of said
Court. Done at office in Bloomfield this 29th day of Nov. 1873.

In vacation of the County Court
Be it Remembered, That on this 16th day of December AD 1876 before the
undersigned R.W. Christy Clerk of the county Court of the county and State
aforesaid personally appeared Barnett G. Smith one of the subscribing witnesses
to the annexed will of William Pinkerton who being duly Sworn, on his oath says
that the said William Pinkerton the testator, subscribed the same in his presence
and the presence of D.H. Evett the other subscribing witness thereto, and published
the Said Will or Instrument of writing as his last will, That she the said testator was
at the time of Publishing his said Will of Sound mind and more than twenty one
years of age, and that he the said deponent attested the said Will as witness thereto
by subscribing his name to the same in the presence of said testator and at his
request and in the presence of the said D.H. Evett the other subscribing witness, to
said will.

The State of Missouri to any Judge, Justice of the County Court or Justice of the
peace or Mayor or other Chief Magistrate in the State of Missouri Greeting.
Having confidence in your prudence and fidelity, you are by these presents
authorized to cause to come before you D.H. Evett one of the subscribing
witnesses to the annexed instrument of writing, purporting to be the last will of
William Pinkerton, deceased, at such Time and place as you may appoint, most
convenient to yourself and the said D.H. Evett, and to Examine the said D.H.
Evett upon his oath or affirmation first made or taken before you, touching the truth
of his knowledge in relation to the execution and publication of the instrument of
writing afore said: You are further authorized the examination to writing. Cause the
said D.H. Evett to sign the Same in your presence, certify how you have executed
this commission, and to return the same with the said will annexed, and the said
examination to the Clerk of our county Court of the County of Stoddard without
delay.
In Witness whereof I R.W. Christy Clerk of the county Court within and for
the County of Stoddard in the State of Missouri, have hereunto subscribed my name
and affixed the seal of our said county Court at office in Bloomfield in Said county
and State this 18th day of December 1876.

Office of the Clerk of the County Court.
I hereby Certify that G.W. Bliss before whom the foregoing affidavit was
made and who has there unto subscribed his name was at the time of so doing as
Justice of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid duly commissioned and Sworn,
and that his Signature there to is genuine. ________

Pinkerton the testator subscribed the same in his presence and in the presence of
B.G. Smith the other subscribing witness thereto and published the said will or
instrument of writing as his last will that he the said testator was at the time of
publishing said will of Sound mind and more than twenty one years of age and that
the said deponent attested the said will as a witness thereto by Subscribing his name
to the same in the presence of the said testator and at his request in the presence of
the said B.G. Smith the other subscribing witness to said will.

relation to the execution of the same do declare and adjudge said instrument to be
the last will and Testament of the said William Pinkerton.
