I William Smith of the county of Stoddard in the State of Missouri Being of Sound and deposing mind and being anxious to make a Suitable disposition of My Real and personal estate D make and ordain this my last Will and Testament hereby Revoking all former Wills. It is my Will that all my Just Debts and the charges of my funeral be paid and discharged by my Executor hereafter named and appointed out of my Estate as Soon as conveniently may be after my desease. I give and dispose my Real and personal Estate Save what may be necessary for the payment of my Just debts and funeral charges in the following manner. I give to my Daughter Martha A. Holmes one hors worth Sixty dollars $60.00 all of my other personal property moneys and effects to Be sold and the proceeds to Be equally Divided Between My Dear Wife Kizeah and the heirs Except Sarah M. Hopkins her heirs I give to them one Dollar $1.00 Each. I want My Dear Wife to have full Controle of My real Estate During her Life here and at her Death I Want my Real estate Sold and the proceeds Equally Divided Between my heirs to wit: Isaac A. Smith, Philip N. Smith, Jasper P. Smith and Hickman F. Smith, Sandy M. Smith, William M. Smith, Martha A. Holmes or their Bodily heirs. And I here By nominate constitute and appoint Isaac A. Smith to Be my executor of this my last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal and published and declared this to be my last Will and testament this 27 day of August 1878 in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight hundred and Seventy Eight.

In Vacation of the Probate Court
Be it remembered that on this the seventh day of September A.D. 1878 before me R.W. Christy Clerk of the county Court within and for the County and State aforesaid personally appeared William W. Corlen and T. G. Divine who are the Subscribing witnesses to the annexed will of William Smith, deceased and being by me first duly sworn, depose and say, that the said William Smith

the testator Subscribed the Same in there presence, and published and declared Said will or instrument of writing to be his last will and testament and that at the time of Signing the Same he the said testator was of Sound and disposing mind and more than twenty one years of age and that Said deponents attested Said will as witnesses thereto by subscribing their names to the Same in the presence of the testator and of each other, and at the request of the said testator.

In vacation of the Probate Court
I R.W. Christy Clerk of the County Court of Stoddard County, State of Missouri, having examined the foregoing instrument purporting to be the last will of William Smith, deceased and signed by William Smith and having heard the testimony of William W. Corlen and T.G. Divine subscribing witnesses thereto in relation to the execution of the same, do declare and adjudge said instrument to be the last will and Testament of the said William Smith, deceased, late of Stoddard County, Missouri.
In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the County Court of said County at office in Bloomfield, this 7^th day of September A.D. 1878
