In the name of God, Amen. I George A. Gibson of the County of Stoddard in the State of Missouri, aged thirty five years, being of Sound mind, do make and publish this my last Will and testament as follows: I request that my funeral be conducted under the direction of my Executor of this my last Will and in a manner Suitable to my means and Station in life and that a Suitable monument or Stone be placed by him to mark the final resting place of my remains, the cost of

which Shall be considered as funeral expenses, and I direct that my funeral charges, the expenses of administering on my estate and all my just debts, be paid out of my personal estate. I give and and bequeath to my two children Samuel Almon Gibson, and Luther Simeon Gibson all my personal property of whatsoever nature or description and wheresoever Situated; remaining after all my just debts have been paid and remaining over in the hands of my Executor. I further give and bequeath unto them all my Real Estate Situated in this County and described as follows: all of the North West qr. Of the North West qr. Of Section No. Twenty Eight (28) in Township No. Twenty Seven (27) North of range No. Eleven (11) East Containing all Eighty Seven acres more or less; I appoint my friend Stephen W. Norris, Executor of this my Will, revoking any former will by me made and I authorize and empower my Said executor in the settlement of my Estate and of any debts due me to compromise Such debts and if he thinks it advantageous to my estate to accept in Satisfaction less than the full amount thereof.
I further request that the County Probate Court of Stoddard county Missouri, Do appoint Stephen W. Norris, Guardian of my above named children if he will accept the Same.
In Witness whereof I have hereunto Subscribed my name this 20th day of May Anno Domini Eighteen Hundred and Seventy eight.

The foregoing instrument was at the date thereof Signed and declared by the Said George A. Gibson, to be his last will and testament, in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence, and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

In vacation of the Probate Court
Be it Remembered that on this the Eighteenth day of September A.D. 1878, before me R. W. Christy, Clerk of the County Court, within and for the County and State aforesaid, personally appeared Josiah Culbertson and George Houck who are the Subscribing witnesses to the annexed will of George A. Gibson

deceased, and being by me first duly Sworn, depose and Say that the Said George A. Gibson the testator Subscribed the Same in their presence, and published and declared Said Will or instrument of writing to be his last Will and testament and that at the time of Signing the Same he the Said testator was of Sound and disposing mind and more than twenty-one years of age, and that Said deponents attested Said will as witnesses thereto by Subscribing their names to the Same in the presence of the testator, and of each other, at the request of the Said testator.

In vacation of the Probate Court
I R.W. Christy Clerk of the County Court of Stoddard County, State of Missouri, having examined the foregoing instrument purporting to be the last will of George A. Gibson, deceased, and signed by George A. Gibson and having heard the testimony of Josiah Culbertson and George Houck subscribing witnesses thereto in relation to the execution of the same, do declare and adjudge said instrument to be the Last Will and Testament of the said George A. Gibson, deceased, late of Stoddard County, Missouri.
In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the County Court of said County at office in Bloomfield, this 18th day of September A.D. 1878
