LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT


Will

In the Name of God, Amen: -
I, Robert Lee Dick, of the County of Stoddard, State of Missouri, being of sound mind and disposing memory do make, publish and declare this my last will and testament.

First, - I direct that all my just debts, my funeral expenses and the expenses of my last illness be first paid, and, if possible out of my personal estate. This last request does not include the indebtedness against my land.

Second, - I give and bequeath to my beloved daughters, Pearl Lucy Ruth and Cora Gracie Lindville all that part and parcel of land lying east of the St. Louis and San Francisco Railway Company and being a part of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter and containing about thirty (30) acres, to be divided equally between them, located in section eleven, township twenty seven, range ten east, Stoddard County, Missouri. I want Cora Gracie Lindville to have south end of field, and Pearl Lucy Ruth to have north end to be divided equally between them.

Third, - I give and bequeath to my beloved sons, Wiley Brigham Dick and Marion Lee Dick all the rest, residue and the remainder of my estate whatsoever, be it real, personal or mixed and wherever situate. Said real estate being more particularly described and being a part of the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of section ten, and that portion of the southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter lying west of the St. Louis and San Francisco Railroad, section eleven, all the east half of the southwest quarter of the south west quarter, section eleven, also a piece of land beginning at the southwest corner of the south west quarter of the south west quarter of section eleven, being located in township twenty seven range ten east, thence running east forty rods and fourteen and one half links, thence north twelve rods thence west forty rods and fourteen links, thence south twelve rods to point of beginning in section eleven; all the above described land being in township twenty seven range ten east Stoddard County, Missouri and containing in the last subdivision sixty three (63) acres more or less. In the division of the above described land in paragraph then, it is my desire and I make it a part of this will that my said beloved son Wiley Brigham Dick take the northeast quarter of the southeast quarter of section ten (10) township 27, range 10 east, Stoddard County, Missouri and that my beloved son Marion Lee Dick take the land going with the Home place lying west of the Frisco Railroad tracks./pg. 2/ in Section 11, Township 27, Range 10 east, Stoddard County, Missouri.

Fourth, - It is my wish and I make it a part of this will that my beloved wife, Alice Dick, shall have the full use and control of all of my said property as long as she remain single and unmarried and at her death to be divided according to the terms of this will.

On this 25th day of January, 1919, before the undersigned M. Walker Cooper, Judge of the Probate Court personally appeared Alice Dick, who being duly sworn, says that to the best information and belief of affiant Robert Lee Dick died testate at Route #2, Bloomfield, Mo. On the 17th day of January 1919, leaving as his heirs at law Alice Dick, widow; Pearl Lucy Ruth Dick, daughter; Cora Gracie Lindville, daughter; Wiley Brigham Dick, son; and Marion Lee Dick, son.

BE IT REMEMBERED, That on this - 25th -day of-January -, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and- nineteen , before me - M. Walker Cooper, Judge - of the-Probate -Court, held in and for - the County of Stoddard -and State of Missouri, personally appeared - J.O. Helderman and A.M. Snider - who being duly sworn upon -their -oath, depose- - and say- -that -they -w - ere - present and saw -Robert Lee Dick - sign the foregoing instrument, of date -January 13th - 19 -19 - purporting to be - - the Last Will and Testament of h - im - the said - Robert Lee Dick - and heard - him -publish and declare the same to be h -is - Last Will and Testament, and that at the time of signing the same, the said -Robert Lee Dick -was of sound and disposing mind, and that th -ese - deponent -s - and -T.A. Smith - the other attesting witness - - subscribed their names thereto as witnesses to the same in the presence of the testat -or - and of each other, and at the request of the said testat -or - who was more than 21 years of age at the date of so declaring and signing said instrument.

Walker Cooper, Judge - of the-Probate-Court- of Stoddard -County, Missouri, having examined the foregoing instrument purporting to be - - the Last Will and Testament of -Robert Lee Dick - deceased, and signed by said -Robert Lee Dick - deceased, late of-Stoddard -County,- Missouri -and having heard the testimony of -J.O. Helderman - and - A.M. Snider - subscribing witnesses thereto, in relation to the execution of the same, do declare and adjudge said Instrument -is - the Last Will and Testament of said -Robert Lee Dick - deceased, and the same is therefore - admitted to probate.

LETTERS of Administration
with the Will Amended

To all to Whom these Presents shall come--GREETING:
Know Ye, That the last will of -Robert Lee Dick - deceased, hath, in due form of law been exhibited, proved and recorded, to the end that the property of the said Testator may be preserved for those who shall appear to have a legal right or interest therein, and that the said Last Will may be executed according to the request of the said Testator, we do hereby appoint -Alice Dick Administratrix, with the Will of the said Robert Lee Dick annexed and authorize her, the said Alice Dick as such administratrix, to collect and secure, all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits, which were of the said - Robert Lee Dick - at the time of h -his - death, in whose possession the same may be found; and to perform and fulfill all such duties as may be enjoined upon -her - by said Will, so far as there shall be property and the law charge -her - ; and in general to do and perform all other things which are now are or hereafter maybe required of -her - by law.
