LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
In the Name of God, Amen
I-Henry H. Hendley of lawful age, a resident-of the-County
of- -in the County of-Stoddard, in the -and State of-Missouri
and realizing the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death
being of sound mind do make and publish this, my Last Will and Testament:-, hereby revoking all
former wills by me made.
(1)
I direct first that all of my just debts shall be paid out of my estate, and that at the time of my death, I shall receive a decent burial and that a suitable monument shall be erected to mark my final resting place, and that my said funeral expenses, including the erection of said monument, shall be under the supervision of my executor hereinafter named and shall be paid out of my estate.

I hereby give and bequeath to my beloved adopted son William Hendley all of the real estate I own in Sections thirty and thirty one in Township twenty seven, range eleven in Stoddard county, Missouri, the same being thirty nine and seventy five hundredth acres in the south half of the southeast quarter (south of the river) in said section thirty in said township and range, and nine acres in the North half of the North west fractional quarter in the said section thirty one, in said township and range and in view of the fact that my said adopted son, William Hendley is a minor under the age of twenty one years, I direct that Jasper N. Punch shall hold the possession of said real estate and collect the rents and profits thereof and pay the same to said William Hendley as collected until he shall have reached the age of twenty one years, at which time it is my will that the trust hereby credited shall cease and determines and that the title in fee simple to said real estate shall rest absolutely in my said son, William Hendley, and this bequest I desire to be in full satisfaction of all claims he may have to my estate or bounty.

I hereby give and bequeath all of the remainder of my estate of whatsoever character or kind, real, personal or mixed, and wherever situate unto my beloved son James S. Hendley in fee simple absolute, and I hereby constitute and appoint my said son James S. Hendley as executor of this my said last will and testament, and direct that he may discharge his duties in that behalf without bond.
In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal at Bloomfield, County and State aforesaid this 31st day of March 1905.

same, as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the
presence of each other and at his request have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses on
the day and date last above mentioned.

BE IT REMEMBERED, That on this- 15th -day of- April -, in the year of our Lord One
Thousand Nine Hundred and- five 1905 -, before me- George H. Crosser, Clerk -of the-Probate -Court, held in and for-the County and -
and State of Missouri, personally appeared-Jabey Brown, C.A. Bander, and N.A. Mozley -who
being duly sworn upon- their -oath, depose- -and say- -that-they -w- ere -present and saw-H.M.
Hendley sign the foregoing instrument, of date- March 31st -19-05 -purporting to be- the Last
Will and Testament of h-im -the said-H.M. Hendley -and heard-him -publish and declare the
same to be h- is-Last Will and Testament, and that at the time of signing the same, the said-H.M.
Hendley -was of sound and disposing mind, and that th-e -deponent-s -the attesting witnes- -subscribed their names thereto as witnesses to the same in the presence of the testat-or -and of
each other, and at the request of the said testat-or -who was more than 21 years of age at the date
of so declaring and signing said instrument.

I,-Thomas Connelly, Judge -of the-Probate-Court- Stoddard -County, Missouri, having
examined the foregoing instrument purporting to be- -the Last Will and Testament of-Henry M.
Hendley -deceased, and signed by said- H.M. Hendley-deceased, late of-Stoddard -County,- -and having heard the testimony of- Jabez Brown, C.A. Bander -and-N.A. Mozley -subscribing
witnesses thereto, in relation to the execution of the same, do declare and adjudge said
Instrument-to be -the Last Will and Testament of said-Henry M. Hendley -deceased, and the
same is therefore- hereby admitted to probate

LETTERS TESTAMENTARY

To all to Whom these Presents shall come--GREETING:
Know Ye, That the last will and testament of-Henry M. Hendley -deceased, late of-Stoddard -County, Missouri, hath, in due form of law been exhibited, proved and recorded, in the office of
the- Judge-of the Probate Court of- Stoddard-County, Missouri, a copy of which is hereunto
annexed; and Inasmuch as it appears that-James L. Hendley -ha-s -been appointed execut-or -in
and by said Last Will and Testament, to execute the same, and to the end that the property of the
said Testator may be preserved for those who shall appear to have a legal right or interest therein,
and that the said Last Will and Testament may be executed according to the request and
instruction of the said Testator, we do hereby authorize-him -the said-James L. Hendley -as
such Execut-or -, to collect and secure, all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits,
which were of the said-Henry M. Hendley -at the time of h- is -death, in whosoever hands or
possession the same may be found; and to perform and fulfill all such duties as may be enjoined
upon -him -by said Last Will and Testament, so far as there shall be property and the law charge -
him-; and in general to do and perform all other acts which are now or may be hereafter required
of- him -by law.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I-Thomas Connelly, Judge -of the Probate Court in and for said
County, have hereunto signed my name and affixed the seal of the said Court at office in-Bloomfield, Mo. -this- 15th-day of- April-, A.D. 19-05
