LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
I - James R. Doublin - of the-of- -in the County of-Stoddard -and State of-Missouri
being of sound mind do make and publish this, my Last Will and Testament:
First, I desire that all my just debts be paid out of the first monies coming to the hands of my Executors hereinafter named.
Second, I give and bequeath to my sisters, Mary Page, Evelynia Drowns, Mahalia Deek and Martha E. Doublin the sum of one dollar each in cash.
Third, I give and bequeath to the children of Dona Morris the sum of one dollar in cash.
Fourth, I give and bequeath to my brother Taylor Doublin the sum of one dollar in cash.
Fifth, I give and bequeath to the children of my brother Sylvester Doublin the sum of one dollar in cash.
Sixth, I give and bequeath to the children of my brother George Doublin the sum of one dollar in cash.
Seventh I give and bequeath to my nephew Dick Ross the remainder of my property both real, personal or mixed.
Eight, I, hereby appoint Frank M. Wright, executor of this my last will and testament.
In Testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this 29th day of July 1908.

In the Probate Court, In Vacation, February 27th, 1920.
Be it remembered that on the 27th day of February, 1920, personally appeared before the
undersigned, M. Walker Cooper, Judge of the Probate Court within and for the County of
Stoddard and State of Missouri, John B. Howell, A.D. Wilcox and Louis Jobe, all of lawful
age, who being duly sworn upon their oaths depose and say that they were well acquainted with
Stephen Chapman, deceased, in his life time and with his handwriting and that they had
frequently seen the said Stephen Chapman sign his name and that to the best knowledge and
belief of deponents the signature of Stephen Chapman as a witness to the last will and testament
of James R. Doublin is in the proper handwriting of the said Stephen Chapman. And the said
John B. Howell and A.D. Wilcox further state that they were present at the time the said
Stephen Chapman signed his name as a subscribing witness to the last will and testament of the
said James R. Doublin and saw him write his name as such witness thereon, and the said John
B. Howell further states that he signed said last will and testament as a witness to the signature
of the said James R. Doublin, who signed said instrument by mark.

On this 27th day of February 1920 before the undersigned M. Walker Cooper, Judge of the
Probate Court personally appeared Dick Ross, who being duly sworn, says that to the best
information and belief of affiant James R. Doublin died intestate at Leora, Missouri on the 22nd
day of February, 1920 leaving as his heirs at law Mary Page, sister; Taylor Doublin, brother;
the heirs of Evelynia Drowns, a deceased sister; the heirs of Dona Morris, a deceased sister, the
heirs of Sylvester /pg. 3/ Doublin, a deceased brother; the heirs of George Doublin, a deceased
brother; the heirs of Burley Doublin , a deceased half-brother and Mahalia Deek, sister of her
heirs.

BE IT REMEMBERED, That on this - 27th -day of-February -, in the year of our Lord One
Thousand Nine Hundred and- twenty, before me - M. Walker Cooper, Judge - of the-Probate -Court, held in and for - the County of Stoddard -and State of Missouri, personally appeared -A.D.
Wilcox - who being duly sworn upon -his -oath, depose-s - and say-s -that -he -w -as -
present and saw -James R. Doublin - sign the foregoing instrument, of date - July 29th - 19 -08
- purporting to be - - the Last Will and Testament of h -im - the said - James R. Doublin - and
heard - him -publish and declare the same to be h -is - Last Will and Testament, and that at the
time of signing the same, the said -James R. Doublin -was of sound and disposing mind, and that
th -is - deponent - - and - Stephen Chapman - other attesting witness - - subscribed their names
thereto as witnesses to the same in the presence of the testat - or - and of each other, and at the
request of the said testat -or - who was more than 21 years of age at the date of so declaring and
signing said instrument.

Doublin - deceased, and signed by said -James R. Doublin - deceased, late of-Stoddard -County,- -and having heard the testimony of - A.D. Wilcox - and -proved the handwriting of Stephen Chapman - subscribing witnesses thereto, in relation to the execution of the same, do declare and adjudge said Instrument -is - the Last Will and Testament of said -James R. Doublin - deceased, and the same is therefore - admitted to Probate.

To all to Whom these Presents shall come--GREETING:
Know Ye, That the last will of - James R. Doublin - deceased, hath, in due form of law been
exhibited, proved and recorded, a copy of which is hereunto annexed; to the end that the property
of the said Testator may be preserved for those who shall appear to have a legal right or interest
therein, and that the said Last Will may be executed according to the request of the said Testator,
we do hereby appoint -Dick Ross administrator with the Will of the said James R. Doublin,
annexed and authorize him the said Dick Ross as such Adm., to collect and secure, all and
singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits, which were of the said -James R. Doublin -
at the time of h -is - death, in whose possession the same may be found; and to perform and fulfill
all such duties as may be enjoined upon - him - by said Will, so far as there shall be property and
the law charge -him - ; and in general to do and perform all other things which are now or may
be hereafter required of -him - by law.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I -M. Walker Cooper, Judge - of the Probate Court in and for
said County, have hereunto signed my name and affixed the seal of the said Court at office in-Bloomfield, Mo.-this - 27th - day of -February -, A.D. 19-20

EXECUTOR'S BOND, or Bond of Administrator with Will Annexed.
We, - Dick Ross - as Principal and - Vergil Sparkman, F.M. Wright and D.L. Clodfelter and Wm. Ross - as Securities, are held and firmly bound unto the State of Missouri in the sum of - Nine Hundred - DOLLARS, for the payment of which we do hereby bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, firmly by these presents.
Sealed with our seals and dated at-Bloomfield -in the State aforesaid, this - 27th -day of -February -A.D. 19-20
The Condition of the Above Bond is, That if the said -Dick Ross, Administrator with the will
annexed -of the Last Will and Testament of - James R. Doublin - deceased, late of-Stoddard -County, Missouri shall well and faithfully execute the said Last Will and Testament, and shall
make true and faithful inventories, returns, and settlements of accounts of the Estate of the said
Testator, according to law, and shall, moreover, do and perform all other matters and things
touching the execution of the said Last Will and testament, as are or shall be prescribed by law, or
enjoined on - him - by the order, judgment or decree of any Court having competent jurisdiction,
then this obligation to be void and of no effect; otherwise to remain in full force.
