LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
Will
I, M. T. Herndon of Stoddard County, Missouri, being of sound and disposing mind and
memory do make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking all
other wills heretofore by me made:
I devise and bequeath to my grandson Ulus Neal Herndon the sum of $500.00.
I devise and bequeath to my son John William Herndon $50.00.
I devise and bequeath to my daughter Lucinda E. Anderson $50.00.
I devise and bequeath to my daughter Anida Tuley Parks $50.00.
I devise and bequeath to my daughter Linda Parks $10.00.
I devise and bequeath to my daughter Alice Gladden $50.00.
I devise and bequeath to my daughter Kibby Brydon $50.00.
I devise and bequeath to my daughter Daisy D. Parks $50.00.
I devise and bequeath to my son Charles C. Herndon $1.00.
I desire that my debts be paid and that a suitable tombstone be erected at my grave.
It is my desire that if necessary to pay the above legacies and bequests that the lands on which I now live to-wit; the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of section Twenty-seven Township Twenty-six, Range Nine east in Stoddard County, Missouri, be sold for that purpose and that deeds therefore be made by the proper parties.
I appoint my friend John Frank as the executor of this my last will and testament.
All the residue of my property after paying the above devises and bequests I devise and bequeath to my children named in this will and to my said grandson, Ulus Neal Herndon, in equal parts share and share alike.
Witness my signature this 19th day of November, 1919.

At Bloomfield, Missouri, this 19th day of November, 1919, the above and foregoing was declared
to us by the said M. T. Herndon to be his last will and testament, and he then and there signed
the same as such in our presence. And we at his request and in his presence and in the presence
of each other do hereby sign our names as witnesses thereto and we certify that the said M.F.
Herndon is now of sound mind.

On this 29th day of May, 1922, before the undersigned M. Walker Cooper, Judge of Probate
personally appeared Henry Anderson, who being duly sworn, says that to the best information
and belief of affiant M.F. Herndon died testate at Aid, Missouri on the 15th day of May, 1922,
leaving as his heirs at law M.J. Lehne, daughter; John William Herndon, son; Lurinda E.
Anderson, daughter; Aneda Tulley Parks, daughter; Linda Parks, daughter; Alice Gladden,
daughter; Alta Kibby Brydon, daughter; Daisy D. Parks, daughter; and Charles C. Herndon,
son.

BE IT REMEMBERED, That on this -29th -day of-May -, in the year of our Lord One
Thousand Nine Hundred and-Twenty-Two, before me - M. Walker Cooper, Judge - of the-Probate -Court, held in and for - the County of Stoddard -and State of Missouri, personally
appeared -V.W. Moran and Whitt Bennett - who being duly sworn upon -their -oath, depose-
- and say- -that - they -w -ere - present and saw - M.F. Herndon - sign the foregoing
instrument, of date - November 19th- 19 -19 - purporting to be - - the Last Will and Testament
of h -im - the said - M.F. Herndon - and heard - him -publish and declare the same to be h - is -
Last Will and Testament, and that at the time of signing the same, the said - M.F. Herndon -was
of sound and disposing mind, and that th - ese - deponent -s attesting witness -es - subscribed
their names thereto as witnesses to the same in the presence of the testat -or - and of each other,
and at the request of the said testat -or - who was more than 21 years of age at the date of so
declaring and signing said instrument.

Moran - and - Whitt Bennett - subscribing witnesses thereto, in relation to the execution of the same, do declare and adjudge said Instrument -is - the Last Will and Testament of said -M.F. Herndon - deceased, and the same is therefore - admitted to probate.

LETTERS OF ADMINISTRATION WITH WILL ANNEXED
STATE OF MISSOURI
County of-Stoddard
To all to Whom these Presents shall come--GREETING:
Know Ye, That the last will and testament of -M.F. Herndon - deceased, late of-Stoddard -County, Missouri, hath, in due form of law been exhibited, proved and recorded, in the office of
the -Judge - of the Probate Court of-Stoddard -County, Missouri, a copy of which is hereunto
annexed; and Inasmuch as it appears that - John Frank - ha -s - been appointed executor in and
by said Last Will and Testament, to execute the same, has refused to accept said trust and execute
said will, and to the end that the property of the said Testator may be preserved for those who
shall appear to have a legal right or interest therein, and that the said Last Will and Testament may
be executed according to the request and instruction of the said Testator, we do hereby appoint-Henry Anderson Administrator with the will of said M.F. Herndon hereto annexed, and do
authorize the said Henry Anderson as such Administrator to collect and secure, all and singular
the goods and chattels, rights and credits, which were of the said -M.F. Herndon - at the time
of h -is - death, in whosoever hands or possession the same may be found; and to perform and
fulfill all such duties as may be enjoined upon -him - by said Last Will and Testament, so far as
there shall be property and the law charge -him - ; and in general to do and perform all other acts
which are now or may be hereafter required of -him - by law.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I -M. Walker Cooper, Judge - of the Probate Court in and for
said County, have hereunto signed my name and affixed the seal of the said Court at office in-Bloomfield, Missouri-this -29th - day of -May -, A.D. 19-1922
