LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of

Jonas W. Sitz

In the Name of God, Amen: I Jonas W. Sitz of Stoddard County, Missouri, being of sound mind and disposing memory, do make and publish this, my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made, as follows, to-wit:

First: I will that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of my estate, by my executors hereinafter named.

Second: I direct that my children select a suitable monument to mark my last resting place and that my executors pay for the same out of my estate.

Third: I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter, Samantha J. Kinder the undivided one ninth (a child's part) of my estate, to have and to hold in fee simple absolute.

Fourth: I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter, Susan C. Bollinger, the undivided one ninth (a child's part) of my estate, to have and to hold in fee simple absolute.

Fifth: I give and bequeath to my beloved son, George W. Sitz, the undivided one ninth (a child's part) of my estate, to have and to hold in fee simple absolute.

Sixth: I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter, Sarah C. White, the undivided one ninth (a child's part) of my estate, to have and to hold in fee simple absolute.

Seventh: I give and bequeath to my beloved daughter, Altha A. Medcalf, the undivided one ninth (a child's part) of my estate, to have and to hold in fee simple absolute.

Eighth: I give and bequeath to my beloved son, A.A. Sitz, the undivided one ninth (a child's part) of my estate, to have and to hold in fee simple absolute.

Ninth: I give and bequeath to my beloved grand children Jonas Sitz and Dona MCCray and Nellie Sitz, daughter of Noel M. Sitz deceased, children of my son Marcus G. Sitz, deceased the undivided one - ninth (a child's part) of my estate, in fee simple absolute to be equally divided between them, share and share alike.

Tenth: I give and bequeath to my beloved grand-children Alvin Bollinger, Nettie Barks and /pg.2/Walter Bollinger, children of my daughter, Margaret E. Bollinger the undivided one-Ninth (a child's part) of my estate, in fee simple absolute, to be equally divided among them share and share alike.

Eleventh: I give and bequeath to my beloved grand-daughter, Ida Reynolds, daughter of my son Marion Sitz, deceased, the undivided on-third ( a child's part) of my estate, in fee simple absolute.

Twelfth: I hereby constitute my son, A.A. Sitz and William Bollinger executors of this, my last will and testament and direct that they be not required to give any bond, as such executors.

In testimony whereof, I have hereunto set my hand this 8th day of January, 1907.

BE IT REMEMBERED, That on this - 19th -day of-August -, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and-Eight , before me - H.S. Green, Judge - of the-Probate -Court, held in and for -Stoddard County -and State of Missouri, personally appeared - Guild C. Lewis and John S. Cox - who being duly sworn upon -thier -oath, depose- - and say- -that - they -w -ere - present and saw -Jonas W. Sitz - sign the foregoing instrument, of date -January 8th - 19 -07 - purporting to be - - the Last Will and Testament of h -im - the said - Jonas W. Sitz - and heard -him -publish and declare the same to be h -is - Last Will and Testament, and that at the time of signing the same, the said -Jonas W. Sitz -was of sound and disposing mind, and that th -ese - deponent -s subscribed their names thereto as witnesses to the same in the presence of the testat - or - and of each other, and at the request of the said testat -or - who was more than 21 years of age at the date of so declaring and signing said instrument.

Sitz - deceased, and signed by said -Jonas W. Sitz - deceased, late of-Stoddard -County,- -and having heard the testimony of - Guild C. Lewis - and -John S. Cox - subscribing witnesses thereto, in relation to the execution of the same, do declare and adjudge said Instrument -to be - the Last Will and Testament of said -Jonas W. Sitz - deceased, and the same is therefore -admitted to Probate

LETTERS TESTAMENTARY

To all to Whom these Presents shall come--GREETING:
Know Ye, That the last will and testament of -Jonas W. Sitz - deceased, late of-Stoddard -County, Missouri, hath, in due form of law been exhibited, proved and recorded, in the office of the - Judge - of the Probate Court of-Stoddard -County, Missouri, a copy of which is hereunto annexed; and Inasmuch as it appears that -A.A. Sitz and William Bollinger - ha -ve - been appointed execut -ors - in and by said Last Will and Testament, to execute the same, and to the end that the property of the said Testator may be preserved for those who shall appear to have a legal right or interest therein, and that the said Last Will and Testament may be executed according to the request and instruction of the said Testator, we do hereby authorize - them - the said -A.A. Sitz and William Bollinger - as such Execut-ors -, to collect and secure, all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits, which were of the said -Jonas W. Sitz - at the time of h -is - death, in whosoever hands or possession the same may be found; and to perform and fulfill all such duties as may be enjoined upon -them - by said Last Will and Testament, so far as there shall be property and the law charge -them - ; and in general to do and perform all other acts which are now or may be hereafter required of -them - by law.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I - H.S. Green, Judge - of the Probate Court in and for said County, have hereunto signed my name and affixed the seal of the said Court at office in-Bloomfield-this - 19th - day of - August -, A.D. 19-08
