LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
I Wm. C. Stewart, of Advance, Mo., make this my last will.
I give, devise and bequeath my estate and property, real and personal, as follows, to wit:
First: I request that all my individual debts be paid.
Second: I set aside one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for a monument, same to be of like style and form as that of my mother.
Third: I give and bequeath to Alice Daily of Vandalia, Illinois (my sister) my undivided two-thirds (2/3) interest in the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of sec. 26 township 7 north, Range 1 West of the 3rd principal meridian and 2/3 interest in W of W of the NE 1/4 sec. 35 twp 7 north Range 1 West of the 3rd principal meridian. Also my undivided interest in SE 1/4 of NW 1/4 of sec. 35 Twp 7 north, Range 1 West of principal meridian. All in County of Feyette and State of Illinois. Any incumbrance against said land to be paid by said Alice Daily.
Fourth: I bequeath to my sister Jennie Prather of Advance, Mo. My undivided interest in the firm of Stewart and Prather of Advance, Mo. If said firm is in existence at my death said Jennie Prather to assume all debts against firm that would be due from testator.
Fifth: I bequeath to my brother, Manford C. Conner of Advance, Mo. My household goods now at his home.
Sixth: I bequeath to Jennie Prather of Advance, Mo. 1/4 the remainder of my property both real and personal.
Seventh: Also 1/4 of same to Alice Daily of Vandalia, Ill.
Eighth: Also 1/4 of same to Manford C. Conner of Advance, Mo.
Ninth: And the remaining 1/4 to be equally divided among Raymond C. Hammond of Advance, Mo., Lelia E. Nathery of Springfield, Ill. and Herschel H. Hammond of Greenville, Ill., heirs of my sister Mary E. Hammond, deceased.
I appoint J.H. Jenkins (without bond) of Advance Mo., executor of my last will.

In Witness whereof I have signed and sealed and published, and declared this instrument as my last will and testament hereby revoking any previous wills heretofore made by me.

The said Wm. C. Stewart, at Advance, Mo. Said (place) on said (day) signed and sealed this
instrument and published and declared the same as and for his last will and we, at this request,
and in his presence, and in the presence of each other, have hereunto written our names as
subscribing witnesses.

On this 10th day of May, 1916, before the undersigned M. Walker Cooper, Judge of the Probate
Court personally appeared J.H. Jenkins, who being duly sworn, says that to the best information
and belief of affiant Wm. C. Steward died testate at Advance, Mo. On the 7th day of May 1916,
leaving as his heirs at law Alice Daily, sister; Jennie Prather, sister; Manford C. Conner,
brother; and Raymond C. Hammond, Lelia E. Neathery, Herschel H. Hammond, heirs of
Mary E. Hammond, a deceased sister.

BE IT REMEMBERED, That on this - 10th -day of- May -, in the year of our Lord One
Thousand Nine Hundred and-sixteen , before me -M. Walker Cooper, Judge - of the-Probate -Court, held in and for - the County of Stoddard -and State of Missouri, personally appeared -Nathan McKearly and Nellie McKearly - who being duly sworn upon -their -oath, depose- -
and say- -that -they -w -ere - present and saw - Wm. C. Stewart - sign the foregoing
instrument, of date -May 26th - 19 -15 - purporting to be - - the Last Will and Testament of h -im - the said -Wm. C. Stewart - and heard -him -publish and declare the same to be h -is - Last
Will and Testament, and that at the time of signing the same, the said - Wm. C. Stewart -was of
sound and disposing mind, and that th -ese - deponent -s attesting witness -es - subscribed their
names thereto as witnesses to the same in the presence of the testat -or - and of each other, and
at the request of the said testat -or - who was more than 21 years of age at the date of so
declaring and signing said instrument.

Stewart - deceased, late of-Stoddard -County,- -and having heard the testimony of - Nathan McKearly - and -Nellie McKearly - subscribing witnesses thereto, in relation to the execution of the same, do declare and adjudge said Instrument -is - the Last Will and Testament of said -Wm. C. Stewart - deceased, and the same is therefore -admitted to Probate

LETTERS TESTAMENTARY

To all to Whom these Presents shall come--GREETING:
Know Ye, That the last will and testament of - William C. Stewart - deceased, late of-Stoddard
-County, Missouri, hath, in due form of law been exhibited, proved and recorded, in the office of
the -Judge - of the Probate Court of-Stoddard -County, Missouri, a copy of which is hereunto
annexed; and Inasmuch as it appears that - J.H. Jenkins - ha -s - been appointed execut -or - in
and by said Last Will and Testament, to execute the same, and to the end that the property of the
said Testator may be preserved for those who shall appear to have a legal right or interest therein,
and that the said Last Will and Testament may be executed according to the request and
instruction of the said Testator, we do hereby authorize - him - the said -J.H. Jenkins - as such
Execut- or -, to collect and secure, all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits,
which were of the said - Wm. C. Stewart - at the time of h -is - death, in whosoever hands or
possession the same may be found; and to perform and fulfill all such duties as may be enjoined
upon -him - by said Last Will and Testament, so far as there shall be property and the law charge
- him - ; and in general to do and perform all other acts which are now or may be hereafter
required of - him - by law.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I -M. Walker Cooper, Judge - of the Probate Court in and for
