LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT
Will
In the name of God, Amen.
I, Missouri Renner, being of sound and disposing mind and desiring to provide, during my
natural life, for the disposal of such property, real, personal, and mixed, as I may posses or own
at the date of my death, do hereby make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby
specifically revoking any and all former wills, testaments, codicils and bequests that may
heretofore have been made by me and I do hereby declare this to be my last will and testament.
First. It is my will that, out of my property, shall be paid all just debts owed by me at the time of my death together with all necessary funeral expenses.
Second. Then, it is my will that out of my property shall be paid the following amounts to the persons on this paragraph named, to-wit: To my beloved daughter Emma I. Jorndt, one dollar; to my beloved grandson Carl Jorndt, son of my beloved daughter, Olivia A. Jorndt, now deceased, one dollar and to my beloved grandchildren, Dorothy Hill and Gordon Hill, children of my beloved daughter Anna Hill, now deceased, one dollar each.
Third. I hereby bequeath and devise to my beloved daughter, Mary E. Read, all the rest, residue and remainder of the property, real, personal and mixed, that I may own at the date of my death, to have and to hold the same to her and her heirs, absolutely forever, free from all claims and demands of any and all persons who may claim the same or any part thereof by descent or inheritance from me.
Fourth. I hereby nominate and appoint Mrs. Emma I. Jorndt as my executrix and authorize her to serve as such without bond.

COMMISSION TO PROVE WILL

THE STATE OF MISSOURI, To any Court having a seal, or the Judge thereof, or Justice of the Peace, or any Notary Public, Mayer or Chief Magistrate of any City or Town having a seal, in the City of St. Louis GREETING:
KNOW YE, That we hereby empower you to cause to come before you a the time and place to be by you appointed, Mrs. M.E. Leach and Lura Leach attesting witnesses to the annexed instrument of writing, purporting to be the last will and testament of Missouri Renner deceased, and to then and there examine them, the said Mrs. M.E. Leach and Lura Leach on oath, touching their knowledge of the execution of said instrument, and of the condition of the mind of the said Missouri Renner at the time of the execution and publication of the same as her last will and testament. The examination thus taken, you will reduce to writing and cause the same to be subscribed and sworn to by the said Mrs. M.E. Leach and Lura Leach and thereupon you shall certify the same under your hand to M. Walker Cooper, Judge of our Probate Court of said county.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I M. Walker Cooper, Judge of said Probate Court, have hereunto set
my name and affixed the seal of said Court, at Bloomfield, Missouri on this 20th day of October
1916.

We, the undersigned witnesses to the publication of the last will and testament of Missouri Renner, do hereby certify that on this the 13th day of January 1912, in the presence of each of us and the said Missouri Renner, declared that she made and published this instrument of writing as ther last will and testament, revoking all former wills, testaments, codicils and bequests, and that we hereby, in the presence of the said testator and of each other attest the above and foregoing will by subscribing our names hereto as witnesses.
Done at St. Louis, Missouri, this the day and year last above written.

Before Wm. A. Marshall, a Notary Public, City of St. Louis, Mo.
In pursuance of the authority to me given by the annexed commission issued by the Clerk of the
Probate Court within and for County of Stoddard and State of Missouri, I Wm. A. Marshall, a
Notary Public, did, on the 1st day of Nov. A.D. 1916, cause to come before me at 3335 Virginia
Ave. In the City of St. Louis and State of Missouri Mrs. M.E. Leach and Lura Leach, who being
by me duly sworn deposith and says that we, Mrs. M.E. Leach and Lura Leach at the request of
Missouri Renner did in her presence attest the attached will as witnesses, and said Missouri
Renner was of sound mind at the time of signing will, and signed it in our presence and further
deponent saith not. Sworn to and subscribed in my presence this 1st day of Nov. A.D. 1916.

Walker Cooper, Judge - of the-Probate-Court-Stoddard -County, Missouri, having examined the foregoing instrument purporting to be - - the Last Will and Testament of -Missouri Renner- deceased, and signed by said - Missouri Renner - deceased, late of-Stoddard -County,- Missouri -and having heard the testimony of - Mrs. M.E. Leach - and -Lura Leach - subscribing witnesses thereto, in relation to the execution of the same, do declare and adjudge said Instrument -is - the Last Will and Testament of said -Missouri Renner - deceased, and the same is therefore -admitted to probate.

LETTERS TESTAMENTARY

To all to Whom these Presents shall come--GREETING:
Know Ye, That the last will and testament of - Missouri Renner - deceased, late of-Stoddard -County, Missouri, hath, in due form of law been exhibited, proved and recorded, in the office of
the -Judge - of the Probate Court of-Stoddard -County, Missouri, a copy of which is hereunto
annexed; and Inasmuch as it appears that - Emma I. Jorndt - ha -s - been appointed execut -rix -
in and by said Last Will and Testament, to execute the same, and to the end that the property of
the said Testator may be preserved for those who shall appear to have a legal right or interest
therein, and that the said Last Will and Testament may be executed according to the request and
instruction of the said Testator, we do hereby authorize -her - the said -Emma I. Jorndt - as
such Execut-rix -, to collect and secure, all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and
credits, which were of the said - Missouri Renner - at the time of h -er - death, in whosoever
hands or possession the same may be found; and to perform and fulfill all such duties as may be
enjoined upon -her - by said Last Will and Testament, so far as there shall be property and the
law charge - her - ; and in general to do and perform all other acts which are now or may be
hereafter required of -her - by law.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I - M. Walker Cooper, Judge - of the Probate Court in and for
said County, have hereunto signed my name and affixed the seal of the said Court at office in-Bloomfield, Missouri-this -3rd - day of -November -, A.D. 19-16
