Directions: From Essex,travel south on Highway 114. At the curve,travel approximately 1/4 mile south on Highway KK. Whitehead Cemetery is in the field northwest from the first house. Matkers were dumped in a slough on the east side of Highway KK several years ago. It is thought the 3rd sheriff of Stoddard County, William Whitehead, is buried here.
